Mountain E-Bikes for Hire

These are available in two varieties: Hard Tail and Full Suspension.

All these MTN E-Bikes have Bosch Performance Line CX motors with Bosch Powertube batteries. The batteries are either 625Wh or 500Wh. These are the most powerful Bosch motors with four power settings:

• ECO = 60%
• TOUR = 140%
• EMTB = 140% – 300% (an automatic mode)
• TURBO = 340%

This is the additional power available when pedalling.

NO PEDALLING = NO POWER.

Therefore, when freewheeling or exceeding 15mph the battery is not powering the motor. In the UK hire E-bikes are restricted to 15mph.

All the mountain E-Bikes for hire are suitable for riding on the abundant tracks and trails that surround our hire base in Lowick close to Grizedale Forest. The Hard Tail E-Bikes have just suspension via the front forks to the front wheel. While the Full Suspension E-Bikes have both front and back wheel suspension. The suspension on all these bikes is adjustable.

All the hire E -Bikes are available in sizes from small, medium, and large with some extra large bikes to hire to the tallest of riders.
