The local area in the Lake District National Park
The South Lake District National Park… on our door step.
Our base in Lowick is situated on the very edge of the Lake District National Park, now a World Heritage Site.
From Lowick radiate a “spiders web” of quiet country lanes and a variety of offroad tracks and trails. All these are perfectly suited to the range of E-Bikes we hire. The lakes of Coniston Water, Windermere and Esthwaite Water are within easy cycling distance. The Mountain range of Coniston Old Man and Dow Craggs looming to the north.
For off road riding Grizedale Forest is very close with lots of different entry options into this famous forest. But there is so much more offroad tracks and trails for E-Mountain Biking, or E-gravel bike riding. Trails to test the most experienced mountain biker or tracks to explore the rural tranquillity for the less experienced cyclist. Wherever you ride to there are inevitable climbs in the Lake District. But fear not as climbing is the E-Bike’s forte… no hill is too sleep nor any hill too long… as the E-bikes just flatten the hills!
Ride for longer distances than you ever imagined… as the powerful Bosch motor coupled with the large battery capacity enable you to supplement your pedalling with E-Power. All the E-Bikes are fully explained prior to setting off for your days cycling adventure, and maps supplied with routes chosen specially to best display the variety of Lake District beautiful landscape. A different view around every corner!
The south Lake District is a quieter area as it nestles well away from the tourist hot spots of the central Lake District. This rural tranquillity stimulates the senses… “you leave on your days adventure with a smile and return with a grin”… you have had a great day out on the E-bikes.
So many clients return with the comment “The best day of our holidays”.
